| Monarch Books was produced by Monarch Publishing out of Connecticut. They began in 1958 with #101 and continued through 1963. Authors writing for this line frequently used pseudonyms including Marion Zimmer Bradley, Robert Silverberg, Gardner F. Fox and John Jakes. Their books covered all genres and featured collectible authors such as Gil Brewer, Wiliam Ard, Hal Ellson, Lionel White, etc. They also featured great covers by artists like Robert Maguire and Rafael DeSoto. |
