GOLD STAR BOOKS
| Gold Star Books were published by The New International Library in Derby, Connecticut. G. Gold and D. Warburton founded this line which began in 1963 and continued through 1965. The collectible books in this series were the unauthorized Tarzan volumes produced by Barton Werper. Outstanding cover art was predominant in this run by artists such as Maguire, Rader and Barton. They also produced many reprints from the turn of the century of Buffalo Bill's long-running series. |
