DAW BOOKS
| Founded by Donald A. Wollheim in 1972, this publishing house uses his initials as its name. Daw Books became the first publisher to exclusively use science fiction, fantasy and horror as its theme. This series introduced a stable of young writers as well as using established ones. Some of the greatest cover art ever seen on paperbacks were present in this series by artists such as George Barr, Kelly Freas and Jack Gaughan. The rarest books in this series are the John Norman non-fantasy books. |
