| Two magazine publishers, Roscoe and Wilford Fawcett, founded Crest Books in 1955 as an off-shoot of Gold Medal Books. This line of paperbacks covered all genres, but specialized in cartoon, humor and western. The big book by this imprint was "Psycho" by Robert Bloch. |
